Question – Why does Googlebot show up as the Browser version in my Campaign Events results?
Answer – Googlebot is Google’s web crawling bot (sometimes also called a “spider”). When using webmaster tools to perform a fetch on a particular URL Googlebot will crawl a URL based on a path you specify and it will check connectivity, basic errors, redirects or security issues with that particular website. In this instance, it would appear that this end-user used GoogleBot to check the link in your Phishing email. When they performed this action it detonated the link and that’s why we see GoogleBot as the browser.
